A minister was walking along the street one day and saw a crowd of boys sitting in a ring, with a small dog in the center. When he came up to them he put the following question :
" What are you doing with the dog?"
One little fellow said,"Whoever tells the biggest lie wins the dog."
"Oh," said the minister,"I am surprised at you boys, for when I was young like you I never ever told a lie."
There was silence for a while, until one of the boys shouted, " Hand him the dog!"
THE MINISTER WON THE DOG !
